The value of a dairy animal depends on its ability to produce milk efficiently and economically. The process of conversion of feed into milk is complicated and influenced by several factors like general health, nutritional status, water intake, management etc. Milk yield may be reduced by death of the calf, retention of the placenta after calving, still-birth, premature calving, abortion in advanced pregnancy and as a consequence of disease or stress.

GALOG has been formulated to cope with the factors which affect milk yield. GALOG is a scientifically blended herbal galactagogue with a high safety profile. A single course of GALOG for 20 days in apparently normal healthy animals increases milk yield significantly and maintains the yield at elevated levels for the entire lactation period (gain of about 200 litres extra milk in a lactation reported by NDRI, Karnal in normal healthy, well managed cows). GALOG is also very useful for restoring, regulating and optimizing milk production in cases of hypogalactia and agalactia due to specific and non-specific reasons. Administration of GALOG with mastitis treatment restores milk yield in just 2 weeks, which otherwise takes more than four weeks.
