Product Description

Bloat is a common ailment in ruminants and other livestock. It can threaten the life of the animal if left unattended or neglected. It is a matter of major economic concern. Bloat may be either gaseous in the form of free gas separated from the ingesta or frothy bloat due to production of stable and persistent foam mixed with the rumen contents followed by non-eructation of the gas. Fatality often results in such cases due to lack of timely effective treatment.

TIMPOL acts swiftly to relieve the animal from distress of Tympany and restores the digestive functions and production.

In case of gaseous and frothy bloat or typany, feedlot bloat, colic & impaction

Cow, buffalo and horse: 100 g/day Calf, Colt and heifer: 50 g/day Sheep, goat and adult pig: 25 g/day, Dog and Piglet: 4-6 g/day In Gaseous bloat, TIMPOL suspended in 250 ml of lukewarm water should be administered orally. In severe cases, TIMPOL may be administered at 3-4 hours interval. In Frothy bloat, TIMPOL should be administered mixed with 250-500 ml. of sweet oil (groundnut, til or linseed) twice daily or at 3-4 hours interval as per the severity of the case. In emergency and in severe cases, TIMPOL may be administered directiy into rumen with the help of trocar and canula. For impaction TIMPOL should be given along with 150-400 gms of magnesium sulphate.
